Relationship and Couples Counselling
Couples counselling and relationship therapy can help whether things are in crisis, drifting, or simply not feeling right. The therapists listed below have specific training in relational work.
Couples therapy is not about blame or about deciding whether to stay or leave. It is about understanding what keeps happening between you and finding a different way through. A good couples therapist will be even-handed and will not take sides.
Several proven approaches exist. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method both have strong research support. Integrative and systemic approaches are also widely used and often blend elements from both.
Many people also do relationship work on their own. That is a valid choice, especially if a partner is not ready to attend or if the work is about patterns from earlier relationships.

This is a guide, not a prescription. The right approach for you depends on your situation and on the relationship you build with your therapist.
